Kronid Gogolev art gallery

The name of Kronid Gogolev is inalienably connected with the cultural life of Republic of Karelia. And this is not only due to bis paintings and drawings, water-colours and wood-carvings, in which the artist depicted, with all his sensitive, kind and gifted heart. This is also because he created a real school of bis followers and fostered the Pleiad of young artists.

Most of the paintings are dedicated to the country life of the North, inclement Ladoga climate, Valaam Island and Sortavala.
