Downhill Skiing in the Leningrad Region
Winter recreation is no less interesting than summer recreation in the Leningrad Region. As a rule, during the New Year’s holyday most of the cottages, hotels and tourist centers are totally booked. Over the last several years downhill skiing resorts in the region have actively developed. Due to the reconstruction of our resorts the quality of services, for example at Korobitsino or Toksovo-Kavgolovo, does not differ from European standards.
Bike Tours in the Leningrad Region
Cycling is an ideal form of tourism, and in the Leningrad Region its many advantages are being discovered anew. The Leningrad Region, especially the areas around the Karelian Isthmus and north-western regions, present ideal conditions for various forms of cycling due to the abundance of paved roads and the near absence of heavy motorized traffic. There are numerous places along the roads are convenient for bivouacking and an abundance of fascinating sights.
A unique cycling path wraps around Lake Ladoga, passing through both the Leningrad Region and the Republic of Karalla, and provides access to the lake’s charming islands and ancient monasteries.

The new international tourist route King’s Road, a route comprised of some of the oldest roads in Northern Europe, begins at Bergen by the Atlantic Ocean (Norway), passes through Stockholm and Turku and ends in St.Petersburg by the Gulf of Finland (Russia).
